    Ailene Frances Bailey Burge Klopf, 65, Clarendon, died Friday, Aug 16, 1996, at Hamot Medical Center.

    Born in Erie July 2, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Frederick Bailey and Lillian Hubble Bailey, who survives.  She was a member of the Clarendon Methodist Church.  She was an Avon dealer for the past 19 years and worked in the food service and housekeeping department of Warren General Hospital for the past five years. She was an avid bingo player.

    She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert E. Burge, Sr.

    Survivors include her husband, Joseph William Klopf; four sons, Robert E. Burge Jr., Scott Thomas, and Brion Thomas, of Clarendon, and Frederick Burge of Erie; two daughters, Frances A. Gibson of Warren and Theresa L. Leach of Clarendon; three stepsons, John, Joseph, and Michael Klopf; two stepdaugters, Betty Morse and Debbie Reist of Clarendon; a brother, Wayne A. Bailey of Erie, two sisters, Carol Pate of Sacramento and Audrey Peelman of Falconer, N.Y.; 16 grandchildren; seven great grandcildren and many nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call the Brugger Home for Funerals, 1595 W. 38th St., Erie. Attend Services Tuesday at 1 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Jack Winger of the Clarendon Methodist Church officiating.

    Private burial will be in Erie County Memorial Gardens.
