Steven Glen Reading, 52, died December 17, 1998, in Brigham City, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born February 25, 1946 in Murray, Utah, son of Glennys Ezra and Alta Leona Denney Reading who preceded him in death. Raised by James and LaVonne Steadman. Married Robyn Sue Mather April 21, 1972 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church. Served a mission to the British South Mission, 1965-67, church leader and temple worker. Veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survived by his wife, Robyn; 7 children, Chris, Angie (Randy) Black, Ryan (serving LDS mission in Bartlesville, Oklahoma), Michael, Jill, Thomas, Janie; granddaughter, Abby Black; brother, Scott (Vickie) Reading; sisters, Joan (Marvin) Lee, Jean (Dave) Clegg, Norma (Jerry) Batley; second family, LaVonne Steadman, Ladell (Shelba) Steadman, Myrtle (Charles) Wright, Shirley (Tom) White, Jay (Florence) Steadman, Dale (Irene) Steadman; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at the Mountain Shadows Stake Center, 8200 South 3200 West. Friends may call Sunday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal West Jordan Mortuary, 1861 West 7800 South and Monday at the church, 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
