Garrison Sr., Robert Wickliffe

Home from the Hill, he died at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at Sherwood Manor Nursing Home in Baton Rouge, at the age of 88.

He was a native and resident of Denham Springs. An outdoorsman and storyteller, he served in the U.S. Army Air Forces as an aerial gunner during World War II.

Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Thursday, March 24, from 5 p.m. until memorial service from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Neufeld; son and daughter-In-law, Robert and Kathleen Garrison; granddaughter and her husband, Karyn and John Bodden; and great-grandchildren, Madeline, Reid and Jack Bodden.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virgie Garrison; mother, Laura Garrison; father, John Levi Garrison; and three siblings, Lucille Jordan, Carrie Stevens and Charles Garrison.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mr. Garrison's memory to the National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana, 8200 Hampson St., Suite 425, New Orleans, LA 70118-1000.
