Ann R. Clayson
SPRINVILLE -- Mrs. Ann Romney Clayson, 76, died Friday morning in a Provo hospital after a long illness.
Born Jan. 15, 1879 in St. George a daughter of Miles P. and Annie Woodbury Romney. Married William Clayson in Colonia Juarez, Mexico, on May 28, 1898. He died in 1901. Married Nathan Clayson in 1923. He also died. Taught school in Mexico and Provo for 14 years, Active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Later day Saints.
Survivors: one daughter, Mrs. Vig (Lucille) Bird, Springville; 11 brothers and sisters, Orin, Junious, Thomas, Vernon Romney and Mrs. Erma Grutham, all Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ivie Richardson, Provi; Lrs. Lula Clayson, Cornish; Mrs. Ella Farnsworth, and Mrs. Emma Eyring, Mesa, Ariz.; Mrs. Ethel Peterson, Phoenix, Ariz.; Frank Romney, Syracuse,
Funeral Monday in Second-Eighth Ward Chapel by Eighth Ward bishopric. Burial in Evergree Cemetery.
