Obituary:
Our beautiful, loving mother, wife and grandmother, Hazel Enone Bott Gay passed away on March 22, 2013 after a long life of love and service to her family and friends. She was born on December 7, 1920 in Payson to Harry Bott and Hazel Jemima Kinder. She was raised in and around Payson, including Dividend, Utah, where her fondest memories were made and often brought to life, as she relived them by telling them to her family.

She married Morden S. Gay on his 21st birthday, in 1938, and they raised 5 children together. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She had two children with another on the way when Morden was drafted into the Army in 1944. They had been married 72 years before Morden passed away in July of 2010. Enone was part of 5 living generations for 31 years. She loved having her family around and especially enjoyed the "baby neck" of each new addition to the family, as well as the older children's kisses. She was the perfect example of "There's always enough love for one more".

Her greatest desire was to stay with Kyle and have him go before her. But that was not to be. She has gone to be with daddy and make preparations to receive Kyle (and all the other family members) into her arms again on the other side.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she faithfully served in many callings.

Enone is survived by her children: M. Leon (Carolee) Gay, Nina (Larry) Carter, June (Boyd) Jackson, Gaylene Crow (Layne's widow), and a brother, Wayne Bott of Murray. She has 19 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morden, a son, Layne, a brother, James Bott, a grandson, Calvin Jackson, and two grandchildren, Alex Jackson and Josef Gay.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Payson 5th Ward Chapel, 711 South 600 East in Payson, Utah. Friends may call Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West in Payson, Utah or at the church on Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at the Payson City Cemetery.
