  • Notes  Marriage Announcement:
    • Miss Abbie Allen of Corning and Harry Marsh of Brooks were quietly married Saturday, January 3, athe First Presbyterian church at Lincoln, Neb., the pastor, Rev. L. D. Young, saying the service. They vistited the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Adams, of that city, returning homes a few days later. Friends of both parties were greatly surprised as they had given out not the slightest initimation of the event. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mrs. Gus Allen of this city, reared here, graduating in the high school class of 1903, after which she went into the postoffice where she served as assistant postmaster, until recently. The groom has been postmaster at Brooks about five years, also conducting a restaurant and confectionary store. Mr. and Mrs. Marsh are contemplating going into business in Lincoln in the near future, as soon as arrangements can be made for the change. Friends are extending congratulations.
