- Eloise L. Stedman married Charles R. Myers. After the death of Mr. Myers, she became the head of the rake manufacturing business, managing it throughout the difficult period of World War II. By 1951, she was residing in Lee, where, among other interests, she was active in collecting genealogical material concerning the Stedman and allied families.
Mrs. Myers was the first member of the Daughters of the American Revolution to be authenticated on the basis of service by Ensign William Stedman, her great-great-great-grandfather. (DAR Number 138,426. 1918)
