    • Nathaniel's will, (Middlesex Probate, No. 7157) dated March 31, 1749; proved April 10, 1749, gives to wife, Margaret, part of his house to live in, a horse to ride, corn, grain, cider, apples and firewood for her use, one cow and œ40 a year so long as she remains a widow.

      To son, Nathaniel, £35 and the household furniture.
      To son, Jonas, £31-5-0 in addition to what he has already had.
      To son, Ebenezer, £49.
      To grandson, Ebenezer Cheney, £30.
      To granddaughter, Margaret Cheney, dau., Keziah Parker, and dau., Eleanor Fuller, £20 each.
      To five sons, Nathaniel, Jonas, Ebenezer, Benjamin and David, his wearing apparel, to be divided equally

      The following extracts from the settlement of the estate of his widow, then wife of Ebenezer Woodward, in which she is called "our honored mother, Margaret Woodward, deceased," show her second marriage as above stated.

      To Benjamin Hammond, in furniture, £5-16-8; in 1 silver spoon, 1 teaspoon, 11-8; in money and other articles, £7-14-4 14-2-8
      To David Hammond, in furniture, £5-14-2; 1 silver spoon, 11s; in money, £7-17-6 14-2-8
      To Keziah Johnson's children, in furniture, £5-14-10; in money, £8-7-10 14-2-8
