  Notes	Robert was of Kinross, and succeeded his father in lands on Milne Lead and Gala Hill.  In 1634 he acquired the lands of Little Seggie in County Kinross, in which he was seized to himself in life rent, and to his eldest son James in fee. These lands became the designation of his family. He also acquired the land of Ballingall. In 1643/7 Robert Steedman of Kinross lent 300 marks for the Scots army. His wife's father, Michael Henderson was of Turff Hills, of the family Fordel. He and Agnes were the parents of 3 sons and 2 daughters.
