- According to Daniel Stedman's Journal 1826 – 1859, p. 24 :
29 April 1827, "Maried Daniel B. Clarke to Tamer Greenman by M. Chappell, Esq."
If these are Daniel Ransom Clarke's parents, it would explain the 1850 census where Ransom Daniel Clarke and Julia Clarke and Abby Greenman (relative) are in the same household.
There is a Stedman journal entry that matches Daniel Ransom Clarke's birth date, "Born Child of Daniel B. Clarke."
