  	Clinton B. Steadman Clinton Bomar Steadman, 67, of 11 Whitner St., known to his family and friends as "Clint" Steadman, and resident of this city since 1909, died at a local hospital at noon Thursday, Mr. Steadman had been in declining health for the past several years, and retired two years ago from his post as engineer with the Southern Railway Co. He was a son of the late James B. and Nannie Mason Steadman, pioneer residents of Spartanburg County, where he was born and reared. He was with the Southern Express Company from 1912 to 1916 when he went with the Southern Railway Co. Mr. Steadman was a charter member of Woodside Camp, Woodmn of the World, and of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, where he was a member of the Men's Bible Class Extension Department. Mr. Steadman is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kizzie Lanford Steadman; one daughter, Mrs. W. L. McDanield of Greenville; two sons, Grady Steadman of this city and James L. Steadman of Hollywood, Calif; two sisters: Mrs. C. D. Boone, of Chester and Mrs. Floyd Jones of Spartanburg; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services, conducted by Dr. C. Frank Pittman and the Rev. Jack Lynch, will be held at the Mackey Mortuary on Saturday afternoon at an hour to be announced later. Interment will be made in Springwood Cemetery. Pending the hour of the service the body will remain at the Mackey Mortuary.
