Record #2459 (2nd District Court) was transferred to #15204 (Civil District Court)] Found: Moved to Texas with her young lawyer husband, 14 children came to bless their union, all boys but the last a girl who married and died very young leaving two small children. S. D. Steedman rose to the Judgeship, owned a farm and lived well. Some of their progeny are still inhabitants of Sherman, Texas.
