  	According to Daniel Stedman's Journal, pages 298-299: 2nd March 1851 : "Died with the Plurisy, Mr. Gideon Greenman at Rocky Brook, aged 32 years, on of the sons of Temperance and the Division turned out very strong about 70 members Meeting at the Corner Meeting House. Sermon by Elder Durfey. He had been a member about a fortnight. Buried at the Greenman Buring place on the fifth."
