- July 1803-Nov 1805 Lived in parishes of St George and Portland, Jamaica. Then spent 6 months in America and returned to Jamaica to Clarendon. Remained in Jamaica until after 1826 (18th century Medics).
He was a practitioner of physics and surgery. (MRCS, surgeon).
Published: 'Remarks on the Condition of the State of Slaves in Jamaica' 1823, 8 volumes.
Possibly studied under or is related to Edward JENNER, Gloucestershire physician who discovered vaccination.
