  	Earl Eugene Silcox "Pop" "A Lover, Fighter, and a wild horse rider" Earl Eugene Silcox, the strongest man we ever knew; fought a hard fight and lost the battle today, Dec. 19, 2007 with all his family at his side. He was born in Riverton, UT to Austin and Edith Silcox; married Patricia Redmond Sept. 15, 1956. He worked hard his entire life. He drove truck for Safeway for over 20 years, and then retired from CPC. He was a great man of service and after retiring became the president of the Riverton Senior Center. He loved going down there and doing whatever he could for everyone. He always enjoyed the trips he and mom took with the seniors, especially the one to Branson. Dad and mom took their trailer up to Deer Creek campground in the summer for over 20 years. He made great friends up there and had great times. He loved being up there the most with his family and friends. Our wish was always for dad to get up there for one more summer. He is survived by his wife of 51 one years; children, Tony (Fran) Silcox, Leslee (Dennis) Shreve and Cathie (John) Trujillo, 14 grand-children, six great-grandchildren, and one on the way. He is also survived by his sisters: Grace Klotovich, Emma Turner, Mary Edgington and Fran Workman; sisters-in-law, Olea Silcox and Linda Jepson; brothers-in-law, Joe Graziano and Jay Workman; many nieces, nephews and so many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Bob, Cass, and Clair Silcox and sister Nola Graziano, sister-in-law Christine Silcox; brothers-in-law, John Klotovich, Howard Edgington, Marion Turner, Tom Redmond and Terry Redmond; also mother-in-law Mae Redmond. Friends and Family may visit Thurs. evening Dec. 27, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home on 12600 So. 2200 W. Riverton and Fri. December 28, 2007 at 10 a.m. also at the Broomhead Funeral Home for funeral services. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Salt Lake City, 300 T St. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at the IHC Medical Center who helped us all at this difficult time. Also to Brian Tudor MD, and the nurses at Central Utah Clinic for always being supportive to our dad.
