  	Garrett Wayne Hurst 1978 ~ 2009 Garrett Wayne Hurst, age 31, returned home to his Heavenly Father on August 3, 2009. He is the son of Wayne Harold and Maureen Johnson Hurst, born June 18, 1978 in Payson, Utah. He graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1996. Garrett will be missed by all who knew him. He had a big heart and was a friend to all those around him; making friends came easily to him. He loved his family and especially loved spending time with his nephews and nieces. Garrett loved the outdoors. He spent many hours hiking, camping, fishing, skateboarding, four wheeling, and water skiing. He enjoyed his time as a chef at Oak Crest Inn and also worked as an installer for Huish Awnings. He was a hard worker and was always willing to help where he could. He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Maureen; siblings, Camille (Scott) Neilson, Haylee (Todd) Nielsen, Shawn (Whitney) Hurst, Kimberly Hurst, and Gatlin Hurst; Nephews, Kaiden, Corbin, and Carter Nielsen, Deacon Neilson; Nieces, Adrian and Carly Hurst; Grandmothers, Shirley Hurst and Madge D. Johnson. He was preceded in death by his Grandfathers, Harold Hurst and Norris Johnson. A viewing will be held at Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork on Thursday evening, August 6, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, August 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Oakview Chapel, 3477 East River Bottoms Road, with a viewing at the church, from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pacific Horizon Credit Union under Garrett Hurst.
