Notes	I have not yet been able to find anyone in the 1850 or 1860 census that I can prove to be her or her parents. It is possible that her parents died before the 1850 census and she was brought up by relatives. Her 1866 marriage record gives her surname as Hunter but her death record and marriage records of her children give her surname as King. This could mean that either she had been adopted by a Hunter family or had a previous marriage to a man named Hunter, who possibly died in the Civil War.
