    Notes
    • Some records show that her name was Sarah Bishop when she married. She was living in house with Richard Ronaldson in 1850 and 1860 census. Richard appears in 1820 and 1830 census with his brother James. It is not clear which of the brothers was married. 1830 census does not show any daughters in the family; however, in 1840 it appears that there were women ages 20-30 who might be servants.

In 1880 census, Sarah claims her parents were born in Pennsylvania.

I do not know how she was related, if at all, to Richard Ronaldson; however, one of her sons was named Richard Ronaldson Steedman.

Her daughter Ellen Duane Steedman was buried in the Ronaldson Cemetery. (The graves there were later moved to another cemetery.)
