- We regret to learn of the death of John STEADMAN, Esq., which occurred at Hopewell Cape (Albert Co.) at 1 o'clock this morn. He was well known throughout the Province and particularly in Albert Co. where he had been employed in searching for minerals of various kinds for many years. He was a brother of Hon. James STEADMAN, J.C.C. of Fredericton, and brother-in-law, of Joseph CRANDALL, Esq., postmaster Moncton - 'Moncton Times'
