      In the Name of God Amen.  I JOHN OSBON of
      Coldwaltham in the County of Sussex Yeomand Being sick and weak of Body but of sound and perfect
      Memory praised be given to God for the same and knowing the uncertainty of this Life on Earth and
      being desirous of setting things in Order do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form
      following (That is to say)  First and principally I commend my soul to Almighty God my Creator and
      Redeemer already believing that I shall receive full pardon and Remission of All my Sins and be saved
      by the previous Death and Merits of my Blessed Saviour and Redeemer Christ Jesus and my body to
      the Earth from whence it was taken to be Buried in such Decent and Christian manner as to my
      executor here after named shall be thought Best and Convenient and as to whing such Worldly Wstate
      as the Lord in Heaven hath Lent Me my Will and meaning is that the same shall be Imployed and
      bestowed so hereafter by this my Will is Expressed AND first I do Revoke Renounce frustrate and make
      void all Wills formerly by me made and Declare and Appoint this my last Will and Testament (That is to say). First
      ITEM I give and bequeath unto my Loving son James Steadman otherwise Osbon all my Coppeyhold as
      followeth (that is to say) Ffosters Craft Bent Land Staple Lane Rectoredged Tar Brook Land end and
      Respecteth and Three Coppeyholds in Barlaventon with all and every the Appurtenances belonging unto
      every of them  AND also I give unto James Steadman Otherwise OSBON all my Goods Chattels and
      Personal Estate Whatsoever After payment of Legacies hereafter mentioned  ITEM I give unto Mary Limiber
      Sear Land during her Natural Life and after her decease to return unto James Steadman Otherwise
      Osbon and furthermore with a provisor James Steadman Otherwise Osbon Lawfully Marry with any One of
      Edward Sears Daughters that then the said James Steadman Otherwise Osbon shall Enjoy all the above
      Coppeyholds to him and Sears  further my will and meaning is that in case the said James Steadman
      Otherwise Osbond should Marry with Jane Garner or require to my any ..... that then my above mentioned
      Coppeyhold shall And go to the Right Heirs of me John Osbon  AND LASTLY the said JAMES shall not Mortgage
      nor sell any of the said coppeyholds if he doth he shall forfeit the Same to my Heirs and further I do Consumate and
      Appoint Edward Stafford Edward Sears and James Watts Executors in trust for the said James Steadman
      Otherwise Osbon until he comes to the age of Twenty Five Years  AND I give unto Edward Stafford for his
      trouble five pounds and unto Edward Sear five pounds and unto James Watts seven pounds that
      they may see that every Thing Above ... be performed fulfilled and kept IN WITNESS whereof
      I have hereunto Sett my Hand and Seal this Ninth Day of April and in the Year of our Lord One
      Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Three  JOHN OSBON  .......  Signed sealed and pronounced
      and declared by the said John Osbon as his last will and Testament in the presence of his the Subscribers

      Twenty Third Day of May in the Year of our Lord 1763 By the oath of James Watts friend of
      the Deceased and One of the Executors named in his Will (Power being reserved for the other
