      Will W. Brown Dies on Monday. Pioneer Resident a Victim of Pneumonia. Funeral Held Today.

      William Wesley Brown, aged 74, died Monday evening at his home in this city, the direct cause of death being penumonia. He had been ill with a heart ailment for some time.

      Born June 11, 1863 in Minneapolis, deceased attended school there and grew to manhood. Later he came to Park Rapids. In 1896 he went to Alaska where he spent a year then returned to Park Rapids.

      February 2, 1902, he was united in marriage to Annie Marie Fox at Bemidji. Nine children were born to the union. The family lived in Seattle, Wash., returning to this city the year 1904, where they had since made their home. Mr. Brown was a devoted husband and father and a spelndid neighbor and friend.

      Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Folkestad Funeral chapel, Rev. Kapphahn officiating. Burial was made at Greenwood cemetery under direction of H. O. Folkestad. Pall bearers were George Potter, Chas. Quick, Grant Hardman, Levi Putman, Luther Leet and Claude Steele.

      Surviving are the wife, six sons: George, whose address is unknown, Loring M. of Minneapolis, Wilbur, Ross, Ralph and Earle of Park Rapids and three daughters: Maude, address unknown, Mrs. Lilly Potter of this city and Mrs. Alice Rey of Pitt. There are twenty grandchildren.

      Relatives from out of town in attendance at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rey of Pitt.
