  Notes	Jason N. Mills, the son of Ebenezer and Mary Drake Mills, was born in Vermont on 30 June 1823. He first moved to Medina County, Ohio, and then to Gratiot County, Michigan. Jason married Julia A. Kinney in 1845 and they had three children in Michigan: Ivring (1861), Alpha (1863), and Philo (1857) and one child in Ohio, Myron (1849). Jason served during the civil War in Company D of the 9th Infantry Regiment.
