  	GEORGE JOBE SR. George Jobe, 67, Rogersville Route 6, died unexpectedly at 3:45 p.m. Friday while enroute to Holston Valley Community Hospital. Although he had not been well for several months, his condition was not considered serious. His son, Floyd Jobe, had brought him to Kingsport to see a doctor. He became suddenly ill Friday afternoon at the Floyd Jobe home on Long Island. Mr. Jobe had been a resident of Sullivan and Hawkins Counties all his life. His first wife died 14 years ago, and he married Miss Mallie Goard. There were eight children from each union. Surviving are the widow; seven daughters; Mrs. Clifford Ferguson, Mrs. Carson Conkin, Miss Bertie Jobe, Kingsport Route 5;Miss Annie Jobe, Knoxville; and Misses Mildred, Willie D. and Charlotte Jobe, Rogersville Route 6; nine sons, Bacle, John, Floyd and George Jobe Jr., Kingsport Route 5; G. W., Eugene, Robert, Luther,and Bobby Jobe, Rogersville; 27 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday at Walkers Fork Church. The Rev. Elbert Melear and the Rev. William Hunter will officiate. Burial will be at Lone Star Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Overbay, John Lee Overbay, Tom Jobe, Roy Jobe, Frank Clark, Carl Mull, Orbie Fields and Walter Conkin. The body was removed from Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home to the home of John Jobe, Vernon Heights.
