  Notes	Farmer who raised his family in a cabin at the foot of Bays Mountain. His granddaughter, Mary Minnie Crawford remembered as a young child walking from her home near Depew's Chapel up Hood Road W. to visit her grandparents. The road climbed past a steep ravine at that time. Grandpa Tom sat on the front porch with a bandaged, gangrene leg. Grandma Mary wore floor length skirts and smoked a pipe. They stored fruits and vegetables under the floor of their house in a root cellar.
