    • MERVYN Robert STEEDMAN.

      We sincerely regret to report the death of Mr Melvyn Steedman, the only son of Mrs Steedman, Hape Road, . ( Thames, at Port Waikato; yesterday, through a horse falling on him. It is understood that the inquest is being held today at Waiuku to-day.- Mr Steedman, .who was only about 20 years, .of age, was educated at the local schools and later at the High School. . After leaving school he went sheep farming at Poverty Bay, on Mr. Wilson's station, and then on his uncles farm ( H Steedman). At Waikawau, later following the occupation of Port Waikato. Much Sympathy is felt with Mrs and the, Misses Steedman in there sad loss.
